SMS Messaging Terms

By calling or texting the Dottie phone line at (833) 962-8781, you consent to receive text messages from this number.

Messages may include:

Post-call follow-up texts
Appointment confirmations and reminders
Responses to your text messages
Missed call recovery messages

Message frequency: Varies based on your interaction. Typically 1-3 messages per call or text conversation.

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details.

To opt out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages.

Verbal Consent Script

When you call Dottie, the assistant will inform you: "Just so you know, I may send you a follow-up text after this call with any info we discuss. You can opt out anytime by texting STOP. Is that okay?"

What We Collect

When you call or text the Dottie phone line, we collect:

Your phone number (to respond to you and recognize you on future calls)
Your name (if provided during the call, stored to personalize future interactions)
Call recordings and transcripts (processed by our telephony provider, Vapi)
Text message content (to respond to your requests and maintain conversation context)
Any information you share during the call (e.g., scheduling preferences)

How We Use It

To answer your call and assist with scheduling or tasks
To send follow-up SMS messages after calls
To respond to your inbound text messages
To notify the business owner of call summaries and messages
To recognize you on future calls for a better experience
To send appointment reminders and confirmations

Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate Dottie:

Vapi — AI voice agent platform (processes calls)
Twilio — SMS delivery and phone number hosting
Google Calendar — scheduling (only when you request it)
Cloudflare Workers + KV — hosting and data storage

Each service has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Data Retention

Call data is retained for up to 90 days for service quality, then deleted. Contact information (name, phone number) is kept until you request removal. SMS conversation logs are retained for up to 90 days. Twilio retains SMS logs per their standard policy.
